Faculty Discussion
Faculty Discussion:
The Faculty Discussion tab in Program Stewardship gives programs the opportunity to bring the faculty voice into the review process by engaging with four key areas:
1. Review purpose and outcomes—This section displays the program’s stated purpose and outcomes, inviting discussion about whether they continue to accurately reflect the program. If revisions are needed, an “Add action item” button at the bottom of the page allows programs to create an action item for their upcoming program action plan.
2. Review actions taken – Here, programs can reflect on the actions completed during the year. This provides space for input, recognition, and acknowledgment of what has been accomplished.
3. Evaluate program stewardship – This section highlights program strengths and areas for improvement identified through data review. Additional insights from faculty discussion can also be added. Programs may choose to upload supporting documentation and create action items tied to these strengths or improvement areas.
4. Finalize program action plan – This section provides a summary of proposed action items for the upcoming year, along with items that were completed or tabled for the future. Programs are encouraged to prioritize the most meaningful items, remembering that quality matters more than quantity.
