View Student Comments

The student ratings form presented to students allows them to enter optional comments for each question. All comments are viewable on the Online Student Ratings system.

Step One:
Navigate to studentratings.byu.edu and click View Student Ratings reports located in the Faculty and Adminstrators section.

Step Two:
Click View Reports.

Step Three:
Colleges, departments, courses, and sections are hierarchically ordered on the left side of the screen. Select the correct college, department, course and then section you wish to view comments for. Click on the arrows to drill down and see everything listed under a specific area.

Step Four:
The student ratings report appears. There are five tabs across the top of the screen. Student comments are found in the Instructor Effectiveness, BYU Aims, and Workload tabs. Click on one of the tabs.

Step Five:
Scroll to the question you wish to view student comments for. Click the Comments drop down arrow located beneath the question to display student comments.
