This list of bugs and helpful fixes for YPoll is updated regularly. Please report bugs and other issues to ypoll_app@byu.edu, or use our Feedback tool on the app. The Feedback tool appears as a small tab with the word, "Feedback" floating on the right side of the website.

Known Bugs and Fixes

  • ISSUE - The duplicate question feature has been temporarily removed. Duplicate questions have been causing issues with regrading sessions and when you start a poll with a duplicate question, it will overwrite the original question. If you have been experiencing these issues, start with deleting any questions you may have duplicated. Instead, create a new question and use the Copy/Paste function on your computer to copy text over.

  • ISSUE - When clicking the "Next Question" button, users might get the following error seen below. We are working to fix this error. The presenter may need to refresh and try again. This usually happens for large groups of users (250+).

Guest Sign In Issues

Users may need to try a few times to be signed in as a guest. We are still working to fix this issue.
