Updates for Version 1.0.0.510

New Features

  • Different performance settings for events, including live, remote and mixed performances. A performance link attribute on registration allows students to post a link to their performance or for judges to post links to live performances for review and feedback.
  • Time slots – Event Coordinators can now create time slots with adjustable student capacity sizing and time length. Students can then register and reserve created time slots, creating a more streamlined and automated registration process.
  • Added department tags.
  • A new "portfolio", or a repertoire library, where students can record and track pieces to perform at current and future events. Pieces can be customized based on different category to include attributes like instrument, language, artist, duration, style, etc.
  • Piece scoring – A new option for scoring has been added allowing judges to score and comment on the performance of individual pieces in a performance, as well as giving an overall score to the student.
  • Optional Scores – Event Coordinators now have the ability to create optional scoring criteria that doesn't affect the final score of an adjudication, and potentially be more flexible retroactively with scoring in the future.
  • Proficiency score – A new feature has been added that allows students to track their performance over time. This score does not affect grades, and only events marked as contributing to the proficiency score will be counted.
  • Action required notifications – The app will now display a notification for an event when action is required on the users part. For example faculty are able to register on behalf of students, but students will be prompted with said notification to fill out any required registration info when they log in themselves.
