Import Multiple Resources

1. To import multiple resources from Sage Vantage, follow steps 1-4 above. Then select all appropriate checkboxes in the Grade Sync column.

Note: The instructor can only have one resource checked at a time in the Link to Course Column. These instructions describe how to work around that.

2. Click Continue. Confirm the selection and click Continue again. The successful window will appear and the instructor will be redirected back to Learning Suite.

3. The one resource that had Link to Course checked will be linked in the specific assignment in Learning Suite that was originally set up. Click Save once all assignment options are filled in.

In this example, Chapter 2 was the resource that had Link to Course checked, so the link to that assignment and other assignment information will be updated in the assignment dialog, once directed back to Learning Suite.

4. Wait a few seconds and click the browser's Refresh button. The other resources that were checked will come through the backend. They will be placed in an unknown and ungraded category without a due date.

Link to a Course Dashboard

Instructors may want to link their students to resources that will not be graded, such as readings. Another option is to link a course dashboard, where students can navigate to all the readings. They can link the students to Sage Vantage through an Ungraded Assignment.

1. Create a new external plugin assignment as normal and select Sage Vantage Pro as the Global Module. Click Deep Link.

2. Select Course Dashboard from the All Resource Types dropdown menu. Check Link to Course. Click Continue. Click Continue again to confirm the selection.

3. Once directed back to Learning Suite, update the rest of the assignment settings. Make the assignment ungraded by clicking the Scoring tab and checking Do not include in final grade. Click Save.

Note: To see where students will be directed, click on the assignment, click the External Plugin tab, and click Launch LTI. The instructor will be directed to the Course Dashboard.
